RECRUITINGA recruiting engagement with On-Ramps will typically look something like this: - Study. We familiarize ourselves with your organization through in-depth dialogue and in-person meetings with key managers. During this initial period, we learn about the culture, drivers, and structure of your business, and help you to identify potential modifications or additions to your hiring and retention strategies, including the possibility of introducing flexible work arrangements.
- Search. Based on our initial discussions, we create detailed job descriptions for potential searches, highlighting the responsibilities, necessary qualifications for the position, and contours of the work arrangement. We then interview potential candidates and present resumes, along with our candid remarks, for those who are most qualified and the best fits for the culture of your organization. We can also handle all of the logistics surrounding the interview process (scheduling, gathering feedback, etc.).
- Validate. Clients often prefer to conduct their own reference and background checks, but we are available to manage this process as well. If requested, we complete formal reference checks on the candidates who you feel are best qualified to meet your needs.
- Negotiate. We advise on compensation packages to be offered to finalist candidates, and provide counsel to you and the candidates when offers of employment are extended.
Recruiting engagements generally require between two weeks and two months, depending on the complexity of the search and the nature of the client and candidate decision-making process. __________________________ CONSULTINGA consulting engagement with On-Ramps will typically look something like this: - Learn. We get to know you and your organization through a series of in-depth dialogues. Throughout these discussions, we work with you to identify the most pressing issues and define the objectives, scope, and timeline for an engagement.
- Assess. Based on the defined goals, we use a combination of data-gathering techniques such as interviews, focus groups, surveys and external research to understand and diagnose issues and concerns.
- Recommend. We analyze the data and present our findings, working with you to develop a set of solutions appropriate for your specific organization. We can also work with you to develop and execute an implementation plan.
Consulting projects typically last between one and three months, depending upon the nature of the problem, the size of the organization and resource availability.
