ABOUT THE POSITION:
This a great opportunity to join the sales team of a rapidly growing company. Our client is seeking an articulate, self-directed business professional who can communicate with Director and Senior-Level executives in an inside and outside sales capacity. The Sales Associate must have a strong desire to prospect for new business and to make cold calls. There is a great potential for professional growth within the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives such as account and territory plans, monthly forecast, and coordinating resources to ensure efficient and stable sales;
- Prospecting via cold calling, previous business relationships and partner channels to identify new business opportunities in order to build a substantial pipeline that will result in the achievement of assigned revenue goals;
- Building and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers to obtain new sales, maximize product/services satisfaction and ensure proper post-sales support is provided;
- Creating individual sales campaigns from identifying opportunities, to orchestrating resources, structuring proposals, negotiating and closing business.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience;
- 1 to 2+ years of successful inside sales experience in high tech industry ideal;
- Must be a self-starter and have a great sense of urgency;
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a ‘can do' attitudes is a must
- Ability and confidence to cold call prospective clients and manage the sales cycle;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a conversation while keeping detailed electronic records;
- Product and service selling capability;
- Ability to meet, and desire to exceed, sales goals and call metrics;
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Customer service and/or consultative sales experience is desired;
- Experience with ACT sales software is desired;
- Experience and/or ability to sell at the director and VP level of Fortune1000 companies is desired;
- Proficiency at identifying business concerns that influence revenue or cost reduction is desired;
- A working knowledge and comfort level discussing technology and business related concepts including; e-commerce, supply chain, procurement, and professional services is desired;
- Experience with Consultative selling and proactive customer service is desired.
