ABOUT THE POSITION:
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key delivery and client management role in a growing and professional firm. The Senior Consultant Manager will manage and supervise the delivery of about $2 million of supply chain consulting services. They will be acting as a project manager on the case team and assisting in business development of new services. They will manage a team of 2 to 6 analysts and associates.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop overall client strategy, manage team and deliver supply chain consulting services
- Manage a team of analysts and associates in meeting project deliverable on time and under budget
- Analyze client spend data and create deliverables for the project
- Understand client needs to provide flawless service
- Assist with business development activities
- Work with Corporate Communications to increase awareness of the firm's services
- Work with senior management to develop selling tools for key clients
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- BA or BS degree from Tier 1 school
- 3 to 5 years of management consulting experience preferably at a top-tier consulting firm
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Outstanding client management skills
- Business problem solving skills with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Advanced oral and written skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: including solid Word skills, excellent PowerPoint skills, and advanced Excel skills (ability to create formulas and to analyze data)
- Business development potential
- Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc., a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages, a plus
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
FLEXIBILITY:
- Ability to travel to 50-75% of the time, with the possibility to work the remaining 1-2 days from home
