ABOUT THE POSITION:

This a great opportunity to join the sales team of a rapidly growing company. Our client is seeking an articulate, self-directed business professional who brings an extensive network and expertise in the software sales arena to the table.

Success in this role will be defined by the candidate's ability to effectively develop prospects and present our client's software and services. In addition, the Senior Sales Associate will take on a key business development role in a growing and professional firm and help build a practice in North America.

The Senior Sales Associate will be responsible for driving sales development and growth in the Los Angeles region.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, prospect, contact and secure new client relationships; write contracts and provide ongoing client relationship management
  • Develop and execute business development and marketing strategies for the targeted market and for assigned clients and prospects
  • Provide leadership in development of new business, from both existing and new client relationships within the target market
  • Generate revenue through acquisition of new clients, cross selling to current clients and extending current client engagements to new activities
  • Assist with the professional development and coaching of more junior sales staff and business consultants
  • Work closely and collegially with global sales staff
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA/BS degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • 5 to 10 years of sales and business development experience, and a proven record of increased sales production; business development and sales experience in consulting, business process outsourcing, and strategic sourcing preferred
  • Experience developing business involving SaaS
  • Strong, demonstrated sales and marketing skills plus the ability to market organizational strengths to senior level executives successfully
  • Lead generation, cold calling, and prospecting experience
  • Proven ability and track record of building relationships at senior executive levels and generating revenue by acquiring new clients
  • Ability to write proposals and respond to RFPs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong and effective presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills including strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lead and manage meetings
  • Ability to convert large amount of information into concise description.
  • Ability to work in self-managed and team environments
  • Good record of interaction with customers.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages considered a plus
