ABOUT THE POSITION:
TaskStream is seeking a highly motivated, ‘get it done’ individual to provide excellence, innovation and vision to our product marketing & communications activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual to work across multiple channels and platforms within a high growth, high performing organization.
The overarching mission of this role is to promote the TaskStream brand, effectively meet/exceed lead generation goals and coordinate internal and external communications regarding our market leading products and services.
Responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the positioning and marketing strategy for new products and features and the overall communications/message platform.
- Manage the development of all marketing materials related to higher education including, but not limited to: print collateral, email campaigns, web pages, press releases and other marketing-related vehicles.
- Translate complex processes and technical features into compelling benefits and messaging for both internal and client communications.
- Manage the execution of lead generation campaigns including creative development, list management and analysis.
- Develop and manage processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing operations.
- Create tactical marketing plans for each customer segment and specific audiences.
- Respond to ad-hoc communications needs by creating customized messages and materials for targeted audiences.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Passion/interest in education.
- A minimum of five years of marketing and/or communications experience, preferably in a B to B marketing context.
- Demonstrated excellence as a writer, with a track record of writing and editing effective materials.
- Strong critical and strategic thinking skills, strategically problem solving at a high-level to help drive success in a dynamic environment.
- Superior organizational skills with exemplary attention to detail.
- A collaborative work style, able to effectively work with individuals at all levels.
- The ability to readily understand sophisticated processes and technical systems
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening skills
- Extraordinary project management skills -- meeting deadlines and handling diverse tasks simultaneously with a results-oriented approach
- A strong work ethic and energy level that translate into enthusiasm for the successful accomplishment of goals
- An entrepreneurial mindset, carrying the tactical know-how to execute on the work
Although not required, familiarity with enterprise software and/or the education field, with a particular emphasis in higher education, is highly desired.
