ABOUT THE POSITION:

Search Associates are responsible for helping to lead searches and manage client and candidate relationships for mid to senior level searches in the social sector. This position is an excellent opportunity for a smart, high-energy, entrepreneurial individual who is looking to contribute to building a leading company in the executive search space. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and leading long-term relationships with clients and candidates
  • Conducting research to identify best-in-class organizations and candidates
  • Assessing resumes and conducting candidate interviews
  • Leading the search process and managing all deadlines and deliverables entailed
  • Driving candidate management, including maintaining contact with candidates, coordinating schedules and feedback, and facilitating the recruiting process
  • Managing search analysts on specific engagements
  • Helping to build and maintain the systems and processes of a growing business
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10 years professional experience, ideally in recruiting/executive search or from within a social sector organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to foster productive relationships and work in a team environment
  • Strong project and process management skills, ability to manage multiple and overlapping deadlines effectively
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding goals in a results-oriented environment
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels within an organization and establish strong relationships
  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading discussions with people at different levels and from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to think analytically and problem solve in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Self-directed; able to work independently; highly organized
  • Passionate about working with people
  • Views talent recruitment as a lever for catalyzing change in both organizations and people’s individual lives
  • Passion for working with innovative, social sector organizations
