Sharing some warmth this holiday season

The holiday season is all about coming together, and nothing brings people together like good food. So this year, we’re sharing On-Ramps’ recipe for delicious, gooey blondies with you.

We hope you’re able to share the holidays—and some blondies—with family and friends.

Warmly,
The On-Ramps Team

On-Ramps gooey blondies
Makes 32 small blondies.

What you’ll need

1 cup (2 stick, 1/2 lb, or 230 grams) unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups (285 grams) light or dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon flaky sea salt or 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt
2 cup (260 grams) all-purpose flour
3 cups chocolate chips
2 cups walnuts (optional)

How to bake
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Grease or spray an 8x8-inch baking pan.
Melt butter in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally until it just starts to brown.
Pour the butter into a mixing bowl and whisk in sugar until smooth.
Once cooled to lukewarm, whisk in egg, vanilla, and sea salt.
Stir in flour and chocolate chips and nuts (if desired).
Pour mixture into the pan and smooth with a spatula.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until edges are lightly browned but look a bit underbaked.
Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
Serve and enjoy.
