About the Organization

IMPACT Community Capital LLC ("IMPACT") is a pioneer of investing for impact. We believe that impact investing has the potential to transform communities and institutional investors have the capital to achieve scale.

Founded in 1998 solely to generate institutional quality, purpose-driven investments, IMPACT has originated $2 billion of investments intended to create transformational change in America's communities. IMPACT has invested in affordable housing, healthcare, childcare and job creation. IMPACT sees these as the building blocks of healthy communities, which are critical to the long-term business success of our investors. But, this change requires scale, so it targets the investors who can create scale - institutional investors - and shows them that investing for impact does not have to be a choice between making returns or making a difference. Originally launched to make investments for a limited number of large institutional investors, IMPACT believes its purpose-built investment platform is perfectly positioned for the growing number of investors seeking high quality investments with the potential to solve intractable social problems. Its energies are now focused on raising outside capital and we believe IMPACT is poised for significant growth.
