- Foster strategic alignment and collaboration with peer funders to amplify impact and advance shared policy objectives.
- Effectively and persuasively communicate and represent Unite America's strategy and priorities with internal and external stakeholders—including the board, funders, and partners—to build alignment and momentum.
Team Management
- Manage, coach, and mentor a small team, setting clear expectations, aligning individual goals with campaign strategy, providing regular feedback, and removing obstacles to support strong performance.

- Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture, and support ongoing professional development for all direct reports.
- Oversee and integrate the work of consultants and contractors, ensuring alignment with team goals and efficient use of external support.
Organizational Alignment and Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Represent the perspective of your department and direct reports within the organization and ensure effective and transparent communication of strategic plans, decisions, and progress back to your departmental teams.
- Advise and collaborate on new strategies (outside of Campaign's direct work) to achieve the organization's objectives, in alignment with core values, including evaluation of new opportunities and assessment for risks, feasibility, mission-alignment, viability, and impact.
- Ensure responsible stewardship of resources, effective budget management practices, and compliance with fiscal and legal policies.
