Brett joined the On-Ramps team in 2026. As a Search Consultant, Brett brings a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to partnering with mission-driven organizations to recruit exceptional leaders. He supports clients across the social sector by understanding their unique culture and strategic needs, building strong relationships, and guiding candidates through an equitable, efficient, and collaborative search process.
Brett has more than 10 years of executive recruitment experience spanning the nonprofit, higher education, and corporate sectors. Before joining On-Ramps, he served as a Director on the Global Executive Recruitment team at American Express, where he managed enterprise-level searches and co-designed and implemented initiatives to enhance collaboration, strengthen internal mobility, and embed inclusive best practices throughout the recruitment process. Previously, Brett was an executive search leader at Isaacson, Miller, managing C-suite and senior functional searches for national higher education and nonprofit institutions. He began his career in development and advancement roles at Roundabout Theatre Company, New York University, and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center -- experiences that deepened his appreciation for organizations that foster creativity, education, and community connection.
Brett holds a B.A. in English Literature from Miami University. Originally from Ohio, Brett is currently based in Brooklyn. Outside of work, he enjoys hot yoga, biking around Brooklyn, travel, and staying current on film and theatre.
